I first came to Bangkok through an internship with
Sandra McIntosh, with the PAOC. This internship has
now been formalized into the Impact School of Missions.
The Impact School of Missions offers young adults the
opportunity to come to Bangkok for a one-month
training session in cross-cultural ministry. The teaching
will cover Culture, the Holy Spirit, Personal Preparedness
and Ministry, all with an emphasis on preparation for
ministry in South East Asia. During this month, students
will have the opportunity to engage in ministry in
Bangkok, in addition to classroom study.
After this, students will spend two or more months
interning with a missionary serving in South East Asia. We
currently have hosts in Thailand, India and the
Philippines, with new opportunities still in the works.
Areas of ministry range from teaching English, helping in
slums, volunteering at children's homes, supporting
pastors and Bible colleges, and others.

I am joining Sandra in this new project as the School
Administrator. I am absolutely thrilled about this new
position. It draws on my strengths, experiences and
training, and allows me to continue growing in my
understanding of what God has called me to do with my
life. I am also excited to be a part of providing other
young people with the life changing opportunity I had to
intern overseas and allow God to use that to shape my
life.
This new position marks a transition for me not only from
teaching to administration, but from earning a salary to
raising support.
